This company was founded in the year 2006 and represents the biggest competitor for Intuitive Surgical in the field of urology,gynecology or colorectal surgery.It is pioneering the use of robotics to improve minimally invasive surgery.
3. Verb Surgical:
It was founded in the year 2015 by the partnership between the subsidiaries of Google's Alphabet and Johnson and Johnson.The company focusses on building a surgical solutions platform.Verb Surgical utilizes the medical instrumentation technology developed by Ethicon,while the big data and machine learning expertise comes from google to develop a digital surgical platform which will include robotics as well.
